Making Fly By Day Plans for Turks and Caicos
Arriving to Turks and Caicos (TCI) by airplane is very easy with many nonstop flights offered from Miami and other main airports. A number of major airlines support TCI including a couple of Caribbean airlines. Furthermore, since Turks and Caicos are only 575 miles from Miami, private airplane travel is easy and frequent, too. The airport code for the main TCI airport, Providenciales International Airport, is PLS. This is the main port of entry for Turks and Caicos as that is where customs is stationed. PLS is a full-service airport with all the amenities. Grand Turks International Airport (GDT) is also full-service with the appropriate amenities. The other airports located around TCI are smaller but well-paved and serviced. These remaining airports and their codes are: North Caicos (NCS), Middle Caicos (MDS), South Caicos (XSC), and Salt Cay (SLX).
The following is a list of major airlines that service Turks and Caicos. Remember, many of these offer nonstop flights that you can check with the airline or your travel agent.
